Adrienne Polowski

WOODSTOCK...Adrienne Polowski, 91, passed away on Wednesday September 21, 2022. She was born in The Bronx, NY to the late Silvio and Mary Abenante Petrie. She had a long and rewarding career as a well respected Administrator at Montefiore Medical center, in the Bronx. She had originally started off as an advocate for the children of her neighborhood and their right to access good medical care. Every position she had she was asked to take, and by retirement she was running the entire Outpatient Department, which included multiple adult and pediatric sub-specialties. Throughout this time period she was also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook and be surrounded by her family and friends. She was a loving sister who had 7 siblings and she cherished all of them and their families.

Survivors include her spouse of 70 years Milton; daughter Ellin, son-in-law John, son Eric, daughter-in-law Jeannette; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
