Ann Stilwell Passan, of Laflin, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center. She was 83 years old.
Born in Woodstock, NY , Ann was the daughter of the late Richard Stilwell and Gertrude Faatz Russell.
After graduation from Kingston H.S., She relocated to Scranton, PA. An artist and a photographer, Ann worked as a photographer at the former Globe Store in Scranton. Ann specialized in portrait photography and hand-painting black and white photos to produce full color photographic images.
Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved art, gardening and spending time at her home in Woodstock. She had a sweet, gentle personality that was known to all.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Passan; sisters, Sheila Gentile, Jeromine Vassil and brother Edward Lees Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Greg Wallick, FL; her son, Scott Costello, Dallas, PA; grandchildren Misty Lombardi and husband Donald Smiley, Dane Lombardi and Mollie Wallick; sister, Laura Russell Dahlen and husband, Ronald; nephews, Michael and Christopher Gentile; niece, Carol Keup and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her Funeral Procession will form 11 am Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Thence to the Woodstock Reformed Church where a 12 noon Funeral Service will be held. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Woodstock. Visitation will be prior to service from 10-11 am.
