WOODSTOCK- Arthur DiNapoli, 95; on June 2, 2021. Arty was born in New Rochelle, N.Y. After serving in the Navy as a signalman in the South Pacific during World War II, he went to culinary school to learn baking. He opened bakery on the Village Green in the early 1950s. He had to close for medical reasons however soon began baking again. He made many wedding cakes as well as apple and banana cream pies at Deanie’s for many years. Later he opened a second bakery on Maple Lane until retiring. He leaves behind his wife Grace of 73 years, daughters Grace and Nancy, son Arthur and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
