Barbara L. Shriber

WOODSTOCK……. Barbara L.  Shriber, 94, of Meads Mt. Rd.  and of Edgartown, MA. Died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY.   Born October 28, 1927 in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Harold and Irene Gartley.   She at one time owned and operated Hauler Bags in Kansas City, MO.  An active woman, Barbara dedicated her whole life to voluntarism to different organizations.

Survivors include a daughter, with whom she resided, Nancee Shriber of Woodstock, a son, Gartley Joshua Shriber and his wife, Nicky of Kansas City, MO, a sister, Louise Thorpe of NJ, four grandchildren: Julia Lewis and her husband Joseph, Anastasia, Chloe and Mason Shriber and a great grandchild, Finley Lewis.

Her visitation will be held 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
