Jacob "Jack" Kiegle

WOODSTOCK ... Jacob  "Jack"  Kiegle, 88,  of Violet Place died October 19, 2023. 

Born in Albany, NY,  he was the son of the late Jacob and Betty Kiegle.   Jack  was a graduate of Vincentian High School in Albany and Hudson Valley Technical Institute in Troy.   He began his 33-year career at IBM Kingston, retiring in 1990. 

Active in the community, Jack coached Woodstock Little League baseball, Hurley Little League softball, CYO basketball and Kingston Sport Club soccer. He was a member of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church and had served as a Lector and Eucharist Minister. 

In September of 1965, he married Gail Glastetter in Albany, NY. Surviving in addition to his wife are his son Christopher (Kathleen) Kiegle of Jericho, VT, and daughters Suzanne (Michael) Broschart of Syracuse, NY, and Kathleen (Martin) Gordon of Bronx, NY as well as nephews and nieces. A brother James died previously.  He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Ceilidh and Fern Kiegle, Tyler, Kyle, and Sean Broschart, and Emma, Jayden and Mercedes Gordon.

His Funeral Procession will form 9:30 AM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow  RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saugerties.  Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Seamon-Wilsey FH, Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. in Saugerties..   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Jack's Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
