Marianne slipped away peacefully at home on July 27, 2020 after a long illness.
A Woodstock resident for 33 years she embodied the original free-spirited, artistic
lifestyle that was Woodstock. She was the unofficial town wildlife rehabilitator for many
years and a good friend to many without prejudice or judgement.
She is survived by her long-time partner and good friend, John Muth, brother Dan
Jackson (Sandi), daughters Lisa, Lori, and Andrea, son Terry (Crystal), 9
grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who affectionately knew her as
their “Aunt Rami”.
At her request, there will be no memorial services. Her wish was that all have the
freedom to express her memory, in whatever form, with the joyful remembrances of
good times spent in her presence.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Wildlife Watch, PO Box 562,
New Paltz, NY 12561 or wildwatch.org
