Michael A. Cartuccio

Michael A. Cartuccio, 71 of Woodstock, died on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

Born in Bronx, NY, Michael was the son of the Late Salvaltore and Angelina (Inserra) Cartuccio.

Michael was a longtime resident of Woodstock. He was a music aficionado with an extensive collection of records of local artists.  Michael enjoyed drawing, painting, writing songs and poetry. He would perform with local musicians and would often read his poetry, and show his artistic talent at local venues in the Woodstock area.

Michael leaves behind his wife of 24 years Ellen (Luhn) Cartuccio along with 3 children, Michael, Christina, Kaly and 7 grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Lasher Funeral Home Inc.  on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 11:00AM-1:00PM.

A celebration of Michael’s life will begin at 1:00PM.

Burial will follow in the Woodstock Cemetery.
