Rosalind "Roz" Balkin

WOODSTOCK - Rosalind "Roz" Balkin, 83, of Evergreen Lane, died Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital.  Born October 19, 1942 in Michigan she was the daughter of the late Mabel and Norbert Rybacki.  

An area resident since 1972 she owned and operated her own jewelry business.  Active in the community she was a volunteer with Family of Woodstock, Meals on Wheels, Planned Parenthood, the Woodstock Library and the Sloop Clearwater.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Whitcomb, a daughter, Melissa Misra of Loveland, CO., a sister, Pamela (Steve) Pride of Olympia, WA., two brothers, Ronald Rybacki of Kingston and Chris (Marianna) Rybacki of Fla.   A grandchild, Jenna Misra of Longmont, Co

Her Service will be held privately.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
