V. Lorraine Elliott

V. Lorraine Elliott, 96, of Overlook Drive died Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home.  Born January 17, 1928 in Woodstock she was the daughter of the late Vernon and N. Catherine Wilber.  A lifetime area resident, Lorraine graduated from Kingston High School in 1947 and worked for the telephone company for several years.   She was an active member of the Woodstock Reformed Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.

Predeceased by her husband, Clifford,  a son, Jeffrey, daughter, Cathy Connell MacLeod, a sister, Betty Lou Haughey and two brothers, Willard Wilber and Buras Wilber, and grandchild Jeremy Connell. Survivors include two daughters: Carol Kenyon and Tracy Brown, two sisters: Deccia Quednau and Bonnie Heick,  four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at The Woodstock Reformed Church.   Friends will be received on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
