Virginia A. Gordon

SAUGERTIES…. Virginia A. Gordon,  81, of Mt. Airy Rd., died Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.   Born November 11, 1942 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Allen and Ruth Stoutenburg.  A lifetime area resident she was employed for over 25 years as a dispatcher for the Town of Woodstock Police Dept.   A trained emergency medical technician, Ginny was a member of the Woodstock Volunteer Ambulance Corp and frequently was the ambulance driver.

Survivors include four sons: Burton Bonesteel of Saugerties, Gregory Bonesteel of AZ., Mark Bonesteel of Fla. and Eric Ross of Woodstock.   Four daughters: Cheryl Bonesteel of W. Va., Holly Clarke of AZ.,  Beth Anne Gordon and Rose Marie Gordon both of Albany.   A step son, Jerry Gordon of Albany, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Her Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Wednesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.   Burial will follow in the Woodstock Cemetery.   Friends will be received on Tuesday 6-8 PM.  Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Woodstock Ambulance Corp.   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Ginny’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
